Fes les teves pròpies pintures o tintes amb difusor / Make your own spray paints or color mists

Les tintes o pintures en spray o amb difusor són cares, al voltant dels 6 euros una ampolleta, però la veritat és que tenen molt de joc per a fer tot tipus de treballs per a scrap, mix-media i manualitats vàries. Així que, perquè el preu no sigui una excusa per a provar-les, fes les tu mateix@!

Com fer-les? Doncs, si busques per google et trobaràs amb diferents maneres i fòrmules, jo he seguit la fòrmula d’aquest bloc: Balzer Designs

Aproximadament, es tracta de posar-hi: 1/2 cullerada sopera de pintura acrílica, 1 cullereta de café de cola blanca i 3/4 de l’ampolla amb aigua.

Hi ha altres versions que no hi posen cola blanca, però es podria pensar que la cola fa de connector o adherent entre la pintura i l’aigua.

També, he provat dos tipus de pintura acrílica: una de molt econòmica i la de la marca “American Crafts”. La primera (la barata) ja t’avisa que cal barrejar-la amb aigua perquè és més densa i quan l’apliques  el resultat no és tan satisfactori com la de American Crafts. Així que imagino que aquesta última ja deu estar una mica diluida amb aigua o la fórmula que tinguin desenvolupada que li dona una qualitat superior. Ara bé, quan he provat de fer les tintes o pintures amb difusor, m’agrada més el resultat amb la pintura acrílica barata, no resulta tan aigualida.

O potser és la cola blanca que  a l’American Crafts no li lliga, perquè he vist tutorials de bloc americans que ho fan amb només amb aigua i pintura d’aquesta marca, tot i que i posen més pintura que aigua.

Per tant, es tracta d’anar experimentant i fer variacions, amb les quantitats i el tipus de pintura. Fes vàries proves i corregeix fins aconseguir un color i textura que t’agradi. A més color més intensitat i viceversa.

Jo encara estic en procés d’investigar. Així que si ho proveu, aviseu-me de com ho heu fet! que  així intercanviarem fórmules : -)

Spray paints or inks are expensive, around 6€ a bottle, but they have a lot of game to make a lot of several works for scrap, mix-media and crafts. So, to avoid that the price could be an excuse to test them, do it yourself!

But how to do them? Well, if you look for google you’ll find so many different ways and formulas,  I’ve followed this one of this block: Balzer Designs.

Approximately, it’s about to put : 1/2 table spoon of acrylic paint, 1 tea spoon of glue and 3/4 of the bottle with water.

There are other versions that didn’t use glue, but we can think that the glue works like a binder between the paint and the water.

Also, I’ve tested two types of acrylic paint: one is very economic and the other is  of the brand “American Crafts”. The first (the cheap ones) already warns you that it is necessary to mix it with water because it’s denser and when you apply it directly the result is not as satisfactory like American Crafts. However, when I ‘v tested to make my own spray inks or paints,  I like  more the result with the cheap acrylic paint than American Crafts, because is not so watery.

Or maybe it’s about the glue: the American Crafts acrylic paint does not tie with it. I’m telling you this because I’ve seen tutorials in americans blogs that make the spray paints with only water and paint of this brand, although they put more painting than water.

So, you have to experiment  and make some variations, with the quantities and the type of paint. Make some tests and correct until achieving a colour and texture that like you. Besides, more colour more intensity and viceversa.
